Summit County Real Estate, Breckenridge Keystone, FRisco, Copper Mountain, Silverthorne real estate listings

Dear Mountain Enthusiasts,

Let’s go over the number of closed listings first and keep in mind that the numbers are low yet they still represent a dramatic surge of activity. In Frisco the number of listings sold are up 111%, Dillon is up 9%, Silverthorne real estate is up 75%, Keystone real estate is up 46% and the one location that is down – Copper Mountian real estate is down 82%! Which leaves Summit County at a 29% increase in the number of residential Summit County mls listings sold through March 15th.
Onto sold prices. This is not what we are used to in our resort community. In fact, the changes for average sold prices by area represent a substantial fluctuation in prices. In Frisco there has been a minus 7 percent change, the town of Dillon witnessed a minus 16 percent change, Copper Mountain did not see a gain and witnessed a minus 5 percent change with only 3 sales this year,  Keystone matched their increase in listings sold with a big minus 38 percent change in price and Breckenridge real estate hit a solid minus 15 percent change. Which leaves Summit count at an overall minus 13 – and let’s not forget the one area that witnessed a plus and that would be Silverthorne with a plus 25% change!
Plenty of variations that could be setting a trend almost three months into 2010.
If we can help you or someone you know find a lifestyle Summit County real estate property in our area, sell, upgrade or simply get more information, let me know – I am happy to help out.
